This is a reasonable fit. He needs to straighten things out a bit on the right. though. But it fits across the shoulders with no tightness and the shoulder seam is where it is supposed to be . Arm holes are high enough. Bit of ease in the chest. Sleeves are not too wide. No excess fabric at waistline. No God of mine quarter squats 315 pounds or bench presses without touching their chest. My god is also knowledgeable enough to not wear His belt throughout his entire fucking workout….He wouldn’t dream of getting his name embroidered on the back unless he won a major pro show. Otherwise you’re just drawing attention to the fact that you’re weak and don’t know what you’re doing in the gym.
While traveling during the summer of 1981 when I was 22, I was staying for the night in a YMCA in Vancouver, Canada. There, I met a squash player who was about 50. After a pleasant conversation, he asked if I would like to see the city the next day on a personal tour. I agreed to his proposition. I suspected nothing untoward with the gentleman. At first, he and I had a fantastic time going around Vancouver together. The dude even took me out to lunch. However, my gracious host did ask to take a lot of pictures of me. I thought that was odd, but I complied with the seemingly endless requests for me to pose. In a public park, my host asked me to take off my shirt before he photographed me. It was then it finally dawned on me what was going on. Though resenting my host’s sneakiness— not to mention feeling used — I reluctantly took off my shirt. However, that was mostly because I felt obligated to do that for him due to the tour and the free lunch. The worst part about it all was when I told a friend at university about that summer incident. He took great delight in informing me that maybe my shirtless photo would end up in a gay man’s magazine. I panicked at the thought and worried about it for weeks. In hindsight, it was an illogical concern. My gay host likely just wanted to fawn over my photo for a few years after our meeting. On a final note, what happened to me made me more sensitive to how I treated women over the following years, all because I myself had gotten a taste of what it was like to taken advantage of due to my physical appearance — something with which a lot of women are familiar!
If you’re wearing bulky, under-sized cotton t-shirts (so they fit tight) then try getting some stretch tees. Look for t-shirts made from stretch cotton or modal fabric .they are super comfortable, very form fitting and feel great to wear .but they can be very expensive. UnderArmour makes a ton of light, stretch-fit t-shirts that can be worn alone or as an undershirt. They make different “fits” from totally form-fitting compression to a loose-fit heat gear style. Score some stretch-fit t-shirts and I think you’ll lose that straight-jacket feel. For shirts, I’ve found that sometimes the “muscle-fit” designation can go a bit too far. When you buy close cut shirts they can make you look good but at the cost of feeling very confining. Again, try a bigger size or go with a different maker.
