The pain was the worst part because it would just come in sharp waves from the tiniest bump for about a month afterward. got shot in the calf when I was 18. over some argument with a drunk friend. he stormed out of the room and came back in half an hour with a Glock g17 and kicked the door open. the room froze for microsecond until he shot me. my reflexes took over and I dove to a side but it hit my calf. I felt a weird sting like something hot was poking in me. the guy who shot me froze maybe by remorse or shock. me and my sober friend tackled him down and he began crying his eyes out. he looked crazed, he sobbed and murmured something like a apology but the other friend knocked him out with a punch to the face. I felt dizzy and I blacked out. I woke in a haze of pain as they shot pain killers in me. after a 1-2 months I could leave with a wheel chair. both my friend and the guy who shot me were arrested since there was no evidence. I bailed my friend out and he moved out of town. its been 5 years since the incident and I remember it with crystal clarity.
