There is no set answer to how often you should wash your white shirts. However, it is generally recommended that you wash them after each wear to keep them looking clean and fresh. I have a “no logos” rule. Not sure why I should pay some company to advertise for them. Clothing with logos should come with a discount. (I’m not overly idealistic about it, but it’s a general rule.) If you see me, in any day, I’m probably wearing a plain, basic, t-shirt. . I tend towards basic, solid: red, gray, dark blue, light blue. But I have a few that are peach, pink, yellow, green, purple, and orange. (Absolutely none of the heather-ey, speckle-ey colors.) I prefer them slightly tight, (rather than baggy — which to me just seems a touch gauche). Washing your sheets regularly is as important as brushing your teeth in my opinion. We spend almost 8 hours in direct contact with them every day – think about that for a moment. Most people spend more time with/on their sheets than any other thing or person in their lives.

Really sorry about that but it’s never going to look the same and about all I can offer is a “Hail Mary” to put it in cold water with fabric softener and gently press it with your fingers in the sink then lay it out on a towel to dry pulling it back to its original shape. You’ll need several towels and a lot of patience and it probably won’t work. But that might at least allow you to wear it around the house. I would recommend washing a dress shirt after every wear. If you perspire heavily or get the shirt dirty, you may need to wash it more than once.
