I want the solution to covering my body that takes the least time, money, and effort. If I have to wear something fussier than my normal jeans and sweatshirts, defaulting to a pre-set standardized answer is great. I’m not doing it for myself; it’s to avoid offending those at the event that requires dress-up. Yes, I think a crew neck t-shirt can look great with a suit jacket. I would say to pair it with a slim-fit t-shirt in a neutral color, and to make sure the jacket is tailored to fit well. I can only answer for myself. I’m comfortable wearing even very tiny bikinis…. at the right time and place. I’m also comfortable being naked in public…. at the right time and place… like an approved nude beach. 😉 I do feel that the poor fellow in the picture is committing a fashion blunder, though.
