I don’t believe there is a specific order given but I do my laundry a certain way for a reason. Sometimes colors bleed— new items that haven’t been washed, darker colors and bright colors tend to fade. I ways do the load of whites first, light colors then darker colors and jeans. That way if dye comes out of something, it isn’t transferred to my whites or light colored clothes. My daughter tossed a red/white checked tablecloth into a load of whites. All of the white clothes, belonging to 3 roommates and herself, came out pink.
Jeans are not supposed to be washed after every wear. The denim fabric out of which jeans are made bleeds during wash. If you wash jeans along with other clothes, the bleeding color from denim may stain other clothes, especially the light coloured ones. If at all, you want to wash jeans, do the following: turn inside out and soak it in a bucket with water. After 20 minutes, transfer it to another bucket in which any wash..
